HACARUS Workplace Safety For KY Enhanced With New Features

HACARUS’ intuitive & easy to use app for performing worksite risk assessments has been enhanced with new features, all to help promote safety measures.

May 13th, 2024, Kyoto, Japan – HACARUS, on a mission to bring the next generation of instruments to every industry, today announced that the award wining application “HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY” has been updated with new functionality in response to customer requests, as well as that the its website has been renewed.

HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY is an app that allows you to carry out workplace risk prediction activities (KY) on your smartphone, tablet, or PC. Based on the entered work site name and conditions, the AI engine suggests cases of industrial accidents and danger points by tapping into a large database of previous accidents. Since its initial release on August 1, 2023, HACARUS has gathered customer feedback and developed it further by adding requested features into the app a virtuous circle that will continue in the future.

New features of HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY

  • Generative AI illustrations added 
    Based on the worksite name and conditions you enter, the AI will suggest examples of industrial accidents and danger points. Utilizing generative AI, the app is now also able to illustrate risks, making it easier to understand at a glance.
  • Support for customer’s own accident and near-miss cases
    Approximately 3,500 cases of industrial accidents are already in the database used for predictions (as of May 2024), additionally, customers can now add their own work-related accident cases, which can be used in the app and unique only to that customer.
  • Creation of KY reports that quantify the quality of KY activities
    The new reporting function allows for quantification of KY activities. By quantifying it, it is possible to visualize the current KY activities, which can lead to improving the quality of safety management activities.
  • Reports easily accessible by QR codes
    During safety patrols and inspections, even people who do not have an account can access the report by scanning the QR code and check the KY sheet for the day.
  • Complacency Alert
    If the same danger points and countermeasures entered are the same as the previous day, an alert will be displayed to prompt the user to enter them again and reconsider if new risks have appeared.

Monthly fee: 30,000 yen (33,000 yen including tax)
*The maximum number of KY sheets that can be created is 500. If exceeded, additional sheets can be had for 44 yen/piece (tax included)
*Accounts can be issued without limit and can be shared with partner companies.
