Non-intrusive & data driven ECG measurement for animals on display at Medica, Hall 13, Booth E56-13
Nov, 20, 2019 – Düsseldorf, Germany – Hacarus Inc, the leading provider of lightweight and explainable AI, today announced the first demonstrations together with DS Pharma Animal Health, of a non-intrusive ECG data measurements and data analytics tool for animals.

The initial demonstration is focused on measuring ECG data from a connected sheet that has the ability to capture vital heart data from standing animals paws – ensuring simple and accurate readings. The sheet is connected to an ARM based edge AI base station, which includes both cutting edge hardware and software technology provided by Hacarus, which then communicates with a cloud platform provided by DS Pharma Animal health.
The three components work seamlessly together and allow veterinarians, animal owners and health care professionals to get data driven insights on the animals’ health. In the future the service will extend to a holistic platform helping with a wide array of health related services.
Hacarus announced earlier this year that it had been the recipient of an innovation award from DS Pharma Animal Health, and that the two companies would continue to explore new business opportunities together – this public demonstration is the first showcase of these collaborations.
