Beta Version Release Of “HACARUS Workplace Safety For KY,” An AI-powered Support For Hazard Anticipation (KY)

HACARUS has released the beta version of the application “HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY” on May 8th. This application aims to support Hazard Anticipation (KY) activities conducted in industries such as construction and manufacturing using AI technology. Additionally, the official product website (https://hacarus.com/ja/lp/ky/) has been launched.

About HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY

“HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY” is an application designed to support Hazard Anticipation (KY) activities that are conducted before tasks in industries such as construction and manufacturing. It can be used on smartphones, tablets, and web browsers.

In manufacturing and construction industries, safety management is conducted through daily Hazard Anticipation (KY) activities. However, one of the challenges is the risk of formalism and stagnation in these activities. Additionally, since the content of KY activities relies on individual and team experiences, less experienced workers may struggle to accurately identify hazardous points.

In this application, by inputting factors such as work conditions and images of construction sites, the AI automatically extracts hazardous points and examples of occupational accidents, supporting workers in their proactive safety efforts. The implementation of this service helps prevent the personalized and formalistic nature of KY activities and contributes to reducing the risk of occupational accidents.

HACARUS is currently seeking partner companies who can participate as beta users and provide feedback for further improvement of the product (Note; for now only Japanese language version of the app available).

As a partner company, you will have the advantage of using the beta version of “HACARUS Workplace Safety for KY” free of charge for one month, and your opinions and requests will be more easily incorporated into the development of the product.

Features

  • AI extracts hazardous points based on work conditions and camera images.
  • Display past occupational accident cases related to similar tasks.
  • Create KY sheets within the application and instantly share them.

Other Features

  • Ability to save KY sheets as PDF, allowing for traditional paper submission and management.
  • Workforce can provide handwritten signatures to confirm completion of KY.

Future Plans

Based on feedback from customers who use the beta version, we will continue to improve and develop the application, with the goal of providing the official version around July 2023.
