Since our founding, HACARUS has been dedicated to the mission of enhancing the value of people working on the front lines of social infrastructure—including manufacturing plants, energy, and transportation—through technologies such as AI and robotics. Our goal is to realize a future where technology takes root on-site, enabling people to work more safely and creatively.
In recent years, the environment surrounding industrial sites has undergone significant change. Challenges such as labor shortages, the succession of skilled techniques, and increasing demands for quality and safety continue to grow in complexity. In this landscape, what is needed on-site is not massive AI that consumes vast amounts of energy, but systems that function reliably within site constraints and continuously generate value.
HACARUS has advanced its technological development centered on the philosophy of Edge AI. Edge AI, which makes real-time decisions on-site without relying on the cloud, demonstrates immense value in industrial sectors where safety and responsiveness are critical. We place the utmost importance not on the implementation of AI for its own sake, but on connecting it to concrete results—such as improved productivity, quality enhancement, and safety assurance.
With the progress of Generative AI, we anticipate the arrival of an era where AI recognizes the physical world and interacts directly in our environment—and our customers’ operations—through hardware.
